Account

Your personal identity for signing in to ARCA Monitor. It contains your profile and personal settings.

Workspace

The organizational context you select to work with an organization’s data, team, and tools.

Member

A person who belongs to a workspace. An invitation and an active membership are different stages of access.

Role and permission

A role groups permissions assigned to a member. A permission controls an action or area of access. Review actual permissions rather than inferring access from a role’s name.

Application

An operational tool within the platform. Access can depend on the workspace configuration and the member’s permissions.

Multi-factor authentication (MFA)

An additional verification step during sign-in. The methods shown depend on the account’s configuration.

Personal profile and Profiles

Your personal profile identifies you as a platform user. Profiles is an application for operational profile records. Editing one does not mean you are editing the other.

Operational guides

Instructions for completing a task in the platform, with prerequisites, steps, expected results, and exception handling. See the application directory for the publication scope.
