Decision and closure
Save the narrative, conclude, obtain required review, and close explicitly.
Save the narrative
Open Decision and complete the investigation narrative sections and the SAR narrative text where applicable. Use Save and verify the saved indicator. Generated text assists drafting; check its claims against linked evidence and save your reviewed version. Generating text does not replace your written reasoning or submit a SAR.

Conclude the investigation
Choose the offered conclusion: no suspicious activity, suspicious activity identified, or inconclusive. Select a recommended action and risk rating where appropriate. The recommendation can include monitoring, enhanced due diligence, a risk change, filing, or relationship action; verify the downstream workflow rather than assuming the choice completed every recommended action.
Record the conclusion once. You cannot freely replace it while a review is pending or after approval. Follow the displayed policy and rework path if a correction is needed.
Follow independent review
If required by workspace policy, request or follow the review at the applicable tier. The reviewer must be different from the person who concluded. Available outcomes include approval, approval with conditions, rework, rejection, and escalation to MLRO. Conditions, rework comments, and rejection reasons have their corresponding required fields. Final-authority reviews can also record the filing decision and reference.
Inspect the returned review state. Complete requested rework or conditions with evidence. Use the SAR section to follow the related report; its drafting, approval, and filing continue in Reports.
Close and verify
Use the explicit close action and read its confirmation. A case needs a conclusion and any approval required by its policy. If closing is refused, follow the stated missing requirement. After success, verify Closed and the recorded event in History. Closing a case is not proof that a regulator accepted a report.
